      This device is a active spirit communication device That allows you to ask targeted questions & receive more accurate responses.  Empath
utilizes four environmental sensors (EMF, Barometric Air Pressure, Magnetic Energy Pole Shifts, & Ambient Temperature) that spirits manipulate to select from over 4,000 responses from the devices word bank. Empath has 6 different modes that you can use for spirit communication. Each mode is meant to get fairly specific types of information from the spirit.  Other word bank devices like the Ovilus only use two sensors (EMF & Temp). Those devices just spit out random words you must  subjectively tries to figure out the meaning of. Here are the different modes & the types of responses each mode is designed to elicit: 
Mode 1. HOW ARE YOU FEELING? Desires the spirit may have, positive emotions, negative emotions, & needs.  
Mode 2. TELL ME ABOUT YOU? Professions, names, relationships, and locations. (a name given may not be the entities name it may be the name of someone they are trying to tell you about)
Mode 3. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW? Numbers & places (could be an address) , family, time, needs. 
(All of these modes have many different words built into the device to help the entity describe what it is they're trying to get across. Your call & response questions should fits the types of responses each the spirit can use to get their points across in each mode.) 
Mode 4. CLOSED ENDED QUESTIONS
Asking questions and looking for responses that would either be a Yes or No. When this mode is selected the device first calibrates itself by having the spirit pick the yes and then the no answer by affecting one of the environmental factors. This ensures that the device is being affected by Spirit and that it's calibrated properly to the strength of that entity.
The device also allows for answers like "slightly disagree" or "mostly agree" letting you know that your close to the appropriate answer.
Mode 5. THEY CHOOSE THE SUBJECT
Allows environmental interaction by the spirit in order to pick the mode they want to use to converse.
Mode 6. Environmental Sensor mode - the device can also be used to monitor the four environmental sensors: EMF, Barometric Air Pressure, Magnetic Energy Pole Shifts, & Ambient Temperature (Cold & Hot Spots) without word bank communication. Empath's screen will show you the ambient values of all four sensors & any changes occuring to them. Should a significant change occur you will get a visual alert in the form of the appropriate color for each sensor change. You will also be able to see the results as they are changing live on the screen. This is an outstanding way to monitor the environment of any area you are investigating for changes that may occur due to paranormal activity.
How EMF, barometric air pressure, magnetic energy pull shifts, and temperature changes relate to the paranormal:
EMF (electromagnetic fields) - This field can be affected by man-made electronics, and also by the energy it spirits are made of. Put the device in an area where little to no EMF is being detected, then if a significant increase occurs it may indicate the presence of a spirit. You can further justify this by asking the spirit to affect the EMF field
or any of the other three sensors on command.
Barometric Air Pressure - The measurement of air pressure in the atmosphere. It has been observed during paranormal investigations that in times of extreme paranormal activity the air pressure significantly increases. It can also be a warning sign of a potential spiritual attack by a negative entity. Consider those locations where the atmosphere feels extremely heavy, that could be the effect of a strong entity on that environment.
Magnetic Energy Pole Shifts - Think of opposite ends of a magnet, one side is the north and the opposite side is south. When placing the sides of a magnet one way they greatly attract to one another and by placing them in the opposite direction they repel. It has been noticed that during paranormal investigations these poles shift in one way when being affected by a spirit.
Ambient Temperature - The constant temperature of an area. It is thought that spirits use the thermal energy in the atmosphere as a way to fuel themselves up. When doing this a cold spot is created. It has also been observed the presence of a powerful negative entity causes temperature increases or hot spots.
Each environmental sensor change has it's own visual alert light color.
* EMF: increase/green - decrease/purple
* Barometric air pressure: increase/yellow - decrease/orange
* Magnetic pole shift: increase/light blue - decrease/light red
* Ambient temperature: increase/red - decrease/blue
